Onlangs heb ik de verloren gewaande recepten voor koekjes van mijn overgrootvader Alphonse herontdekt. Mijn groot-tante Augusta, met wie ik leerde koken, had ze neergescreven in haar kookboek dat ze startte in 1914. Haar verhalen waren voor mij een bron van inspiratie. De heerlijke koekjes zijn een eerbetoon aan hen beiden.
Recently I rediscovered the lost cookie recipies of my great grand father Alphonse. I found them in a hand written cookbook of my great aunt Augusta, with whom I learned to cook. She started her cookbook in 1914. Her stories are still a source of inspiration. Those delicious cookies are a tribute to them both.
